Music is a big part of my life, I listen to it constantly every day, I find it an amazing way to remain calm. I often can get anxious when I have nothing to focus on and I start to overthink and ruminate, Music really helps me to have something to focus on without getting stressed. 

Also if something stressful is going on, like getting caught up in school, some drama, or studying for exams, it can be really easy to just focus on the stressful thing but it’s so important to take care of yourself at that time, “Self-care is a priority, not a luxury”. For self-care I’ve a lot of different things I do , but one of my favourites is to put some happy music on as loud as I possibly can and have some time to myself, forget about everything and everyone else, and just sing and dance along! It may seem silly but forgetting about your responsibilities for a while and just being carefree can have such a positive affect!!
