
Mindspace Mayo offers early and brief intervention for young people aged 12-25 and their families. The Mindspace model aspires to work collaboratively with young people, placing their needs and the wider community at the heart of therapeutic work. Mindspace Mayo supports young people presenting with anything from common concerns (e.g. dealing with break-up, exam stress, bullying, self-image) to young people with emerging mental health difficulties such as mild depression and anxiety.
Mindspace is now seeking a full-time Clinical Support Worker (37 hours). Closing date: 12 noon on Friday 18th July 2025
The Clinical Support Worker ideally will have a qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work, Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, Educational), Counselling / Psychotherapy or Occupational Therapy and experience of working with early and brief intervention in Primary Care or Mental Health settings.
The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team. They will offer a comprehensive service to young people and their families presenting with emotional difficulties / mild – emerging mental health difficulties / substance misuse issues. The post holder will provide generic/risk assessment and direct service provision, utilising evidence based, brief therapies to individuals and groups where appropriate.
